The industry standard part # for this bucket tooth is 230TL or T23L, the flex pin # is 23p. This is an H&L style bucket tooth.

You would use a Pointed or Tiger tooth when you need more penetration than a general purpose or flat tooth can give you.

This single point can be paired with the twin pointed teeth in combination on the same bucket. Often Contractors will put twins on the corners and run singles in the middle.
